Amsterdam based composer and pianist Muriël Bostdorp plays the piano with the beauty of melancholy. Influenced by nature and everyday life, she takes you back to your inner senses. Without words she guides you to all kinds of dreamy spaces.
From a very young age Muriël knew she wanted to become a pianist. “Playing the piano is just who I am, and what I always wanted to do.” As a little girl she was gifted with the talent that she could play a song by ear on her toy piano. But it wasn’t until her 16th birthday that she took her first piano lesson. With great success; only two years later she had her first classical performance at the Princess Christina Concours.
Now, at the age of 29, she composed two albums (‘En Route’ and ‘See’) and two EP’s (‘Revive’ and ‘Transience’) and performed at several musical events.
